How To Pluck Your Eyebrows To Achieve The Perfect Shape

How to pluck your eyebrows

Have you ever plucked your eyebrows too much? Or maybe you’re afraid that you’ll pluck them the wrong way and ruin their shape? No worries. These 7 points will ensure that your eyebrow plucking regime goes smoothly!

7 steps to pluck your eyebrow perfectly

1. Minimize the plucking pain

The best time to pluck your eyebrows is right after a shower. Warm water opens hair follicles and softens the hair, helping them slip out easily. It also leaves your skin moist and supple. When you need to pluck at other times of the day, wash your brow area with warm water or wet a cloth using the hottest water you can handle and place it on your eyebrows for 2 minutes. Remember to dry your eyebrows afterwards as it may be hard to pluck if they’re still wet.

2. Locate your starting points

Although it’s different for every face, this technique can be used by anyone to locate their brow lines. Hold your tweezers (you can try our tweezers) or brow pencil vertically along the outer edge of the bottom of your nose, then mark the designated place in front of your brow for later reference. This technique only shows you the general spot so feel free to move the line a little forward or backward. The drawn line is the place where your brows should begin.

3. Locate your ending points

Now you need to locate the place where your brows should naturally end. Lay the chosen tool from the edge of your nostril to the outer corner of your eye. The spot where it intersects your brow is where your brows should end. Mark the place for later reference.

4. Find the place where your brows should peak

This part can be tricky. The point you choose for the brows to peak can make a huge difference in your final look. Line up the same tool as before from the outer edge of your nostril to the outer edge of your iris. Mark the designated place on your brow. Repeat on the other side.

5. Choose your brow thickness

Use brow or eye pencil to draw a line along the bottom edge of your brows starting just below the fullest part of it. It should follow the natural shape of your brow line. Pay attention to a few things. First, be aware that the size of your eyes is important when it comes to choosing the right thickness of your brows. Thicker brows look better on people with big eyes, whereas small eyes can be balanced by thinner brows. The space between your brows and your eyes is just as important. For example, if you have a low-set brow-bone slightly just over your eyes, thinner brows would look better than thicker.

6. Pluck the hairs outside the lines

When you’ve drawn your perfect shaped brows, pluck all hairs that fall outside. Remember to pluck only the hairs outside - don’t change the plan that you’ve just created. If you follow these rules every time you’re plucking, you’ll gain beautiful and perfectly shaped eyebrows every time.

7. Finish with brow gel

Brush your brows and apply a bit of brow gel to hold them in place. Our Brow Gel is perfect for this. It’s waterproof and long-wearing so your brows will stay put all day, no matter how active your lifestyle is!

Getting perfectly shaped eyebrows can be tricky, but beautiful eyebrows are worth every bit of effort. It’s important to take care of them every day. This way, you’ll look much younger and your makeup will look complete and flawless.
