How To Apply False Eyelashes For Beginners

 3D Mink Lashes Chelsea Beautique

Would you like to have beautifully long and volumized lashes? Or maybe you have them, but you need something extra for a special occasion? False lashes can be the best choice. They provide a red carpet effect in the matter of minutes and look simply stunning. There’s many types of lashes to choose from but after selecting your preferred style, there’s only one step left to achieving your gorgeous look – Application! It can be very tricky, but following these rules will get you the perfect lashes in just a few minutes.

False lashes application guide for beginners:

1. Remove lashes from the box

The best way to remove lashes from the box is the use of tweezers. Of course, if you feel more comfortable using your fingers then do this, but remember to be very gentle when removing from the packaging. Always peel them from the outer edge and never from the inner corner. Remember you can always trim the outer edge, but you will not be able to fix them if the inner corner is damaged.

2. Measure-up and trim the eyelashes

You need to be sure that the eyelashes are not too wide for your eye. Remember that the strip should start where the natural bulk of your eyelashes begin, because if you start too close to the inner corner it will irritate your eyes. Hold the lash strip up against your eyelid and if necessary trim them down the outer edge.

3. Add adhesive

Apply a thin layer of glue from corner to corner and wait a few seconds. You may find this easier with a thin brush which can be found on our Lash Adhesive.

4. Apply them

Remember to place the mirror in a position that allows you to look down and keep your elbows on the table. You will see that stability makes a huge difference. Start by putting your lashes on the center of your own lash line. Look down into the mirror and using your fingers press the lashes firmly on to your eyelid. Then fix the inner and outer edges, pushing them in place with the reverse end of your tweezers. Make sure the corners are stuck well and allow a little time for the glue to dry naturally.

5. Apply eyeliner

Apply liquid eyeliner to fill in any gaps between the false lashes and your own. This step makes your eyelashes look natural and even more beautiful!
